Litéra's LDF software suite helps
users edit, manage, and compress
PDFs without using separate PDF
software, says CEO Deepak Massand.
Users can create and edit
documents, and redact irreversibly,
he says. They can append
and create binders, and add Bates
numbering, as well as split or separate
multi-page PDF files into
smaller, individual files. Users can
add or delete embedded Microsoft
Word or Excel files. A batch
metadata tool helps users control
the function and structure of outgoing
PDF documents.
T-Mobile and Motorola have joined forces to create
the Motorola Cliq. The smartphone features
Motoblur technology, which manages and integrates
communications (work e-mail, social
networking, etc.). Built on the Android mobile
operating system, the phone shows updates
from Facebook, Twitter, Gmail and other
e-mail services on the home screen.
